# Activate blockchain

Activates a blockchain for monitoring and processing by workers.

Endpoint: POST /blockchains/{chain_gid}/actions/activate

## Path parameters:

  - `chain_gid` (string, required)
    Blockchain identifier in CAIP-2 format (namespace:reference)
    Example: "eip155:1"
